Rover 416 1999 clock replacement

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW, but I don't know how else to send an email - I have a photo of the failed clock in my car, and a copy from the Haynes manual. Even so it's unclear how to change the clock without removing the centre console. There is no point I can see where the clock surround can be prized clear. Would appreciate any advice - unless included with delivery which I await and hope is the correct item??? If so, many thanks, and will make a positive review. (50 Winterbourne Close, Hastings TN341XQ)
